Subject: weird BMW 324td problems

Hi all, I drive a BMW 324td (1989) and it is smooth sailing but..... in 1st gear it goes all the way up to approx. 4800rpm in 2nd gear it gets cut of at approx. 4400rpm in 3rd gear it gets cut of at approx. 4200rpm in 4th gear it gets cut of at approx. 4000rpm and in 5th gear it gets cut of at approx. 3800rpm I've looked at the fuellpump but that's allright I've changed the dieselfilter(original) so that can't be the problem There are no errorcodes in the motormanagementsystem (my dealer checked) The idlespeed is nice and clean, feels wellbalanced, the engine feels wellbalanced up to wenn it gets cut of. What happens is that the revmeter just won't go further and the fuellconsumptionmeter drops to approx. 10l per 100km and sticks there no matter how deep I push the pedal. Sometimes letting the rpm drop a bit and pusinh the pedal deeper gets me a bit further then the described rpm but never much. I've tried adjusting the turbo a bit and this is what happened": Setting the lever shorter got me at higher rpm levels(a bit) but the car smoked a lot more Setting the lever longer makes allmost all smoke dissapear (only smokes a bit when I shift gears when I'm trying to go fast) but doesn't noticably change the rpm problem. I also mounted a new original airfilter but that doesn't solve the problem either. I also changed the fuellhoses and all vacuumhoses into new ones but that also doesn't change anything. The engine doesn't consume oil, there is no coolingsystem leak. What's wrong here? I can't seem to figure it out. Do you have any ideas? Patrick btw. when I drive a normal 120kmh constantly the car consumes about 7.5l per 100km so that doesn't seem too bad either. |

Hallo alle, Ich fahre ein BMW 324td (1989) und es fahrt gut aber.... im ersten gang geht es bis ungefehr 4800rpm im zweiten gang geht es bis ungefehr 4400rpm im dreiten gang geht es bis ungefehr 4200rpm im vierten gang geht es bis ungefehr 4000rpm im funften gang geht es bis ungefehr 3800rpm Ich habe den ESP angeshaut und nichts fremdes gefunden. Dat dieselfilter habe ich fur ein originalfilter umgewechselt also das kan nicht die ursache sein Die stazionairrpm is gut und stabil und wenn ich fahre fult das motor gut und stabil bis es abgebrems so fuhlt es bei das dde. Was pasiert is dat die rpm meter nicht weiter geht un die kraftstoffmeter falt zuruck bis ungefer 10l auf 100km und geht nie weiter wie tief ich das pedal auch drucke. Es pasiert mal das wenn ich die rpm etwas minder mache und dan das pedal indrucke das es ein weniges witer geht als beshrieben aber nicht nicht viel Ich habe etwas versucht mit die turbo zu regeln und folgende war das resultat: Das ding groser und die rpm war hoher aber das auto rauchte viel mehr. Das ding kurzer und das auto rauch fast nich mehr, nur wen ich das pedal sehr tief eindrucke aber die rpm andern niecht viel dafon. Ich habe auch ein neues luftfilter montiert und alle kraftstoff und vacumleitungen neu montiert. Es ist kein ollbrander und hat kein kuhlwasser problem. Was kan das problem sein, ich verstehe es nicht. Hat jemand hier eine idee? Patrick ps. wen ich normal 120kms fahre dan berbraucht das auto ungefehr 7.5l ab 100km und das ist auch nicht slecht denke ich. |
